I've circled my problem with this and other hoonery

Kinja'd!!!

party poopering over, that was a pretty sweet drift. and there it really nowhere else that such a thing would be considered a drift through a continuous corner and not just a donut

50 seconds, turn signal. Wasn't originally on. Furious correcting there, hit turn signal, continue in correct direction. Points to you, sir.

I usually have the same issue, but not with this one, except when he was going fast through the parking spaces.

It was a pretty slow drift, slow enough that with the right reactions that he could stop if there was a car in front of him. If you watch his angle and speed, he slows down and increases angle, very purposefully, to duck to the inside. If he'd thought the car was going to stop he could have braked and straightened easily.

A) A donut implies just random circles. Drifiting in a tight, railed environment in an upward spiraling circle is completely different. That'd be like saying when Ken Block drifted around the segway that any redneck in his 1980's Mustang could do it. Jokes.

B) He was very in control. This is nothing like that crazy guy drifting through the streets in his BMW, who eventually died. As KillerRaccoon stated, he could have easily stopped, or corrected if he needed to without endangering anyone.

yes, it is VERY different, hence my saying the location is what made this different to doing donuts...

don't care how in control he is of the car, he is not in control of the environment

HA! So if the environment is the real problem then we're all screwed, right? How is him driving, or you driving, or me driving going to change the environment?

Or do you mean to tell me that Sarah, who is too busy on her cellphone to pay attention to what's in front of her, serves a better chance of surviving the environment than this guy?
